Step 1: Sub-Base & SuDS Drainage

We excavate to a minimum 200mm depth, install geotextile weed fabric, and compact a heavy-duty MOT Type 1 aggregate base. We integrate linear channel drains to manage surface water and ensure full SuDS compliance.

Step 2: Concrete Edging & Binder Layer

Concrete kerbs or granite sets are bedded in concrete along all borders to lock the driveway matrix. We then lay and heavy-roller compact a dense asphalt binder course to form a structural foundation layer.

Step 3: SMA Surface Course & Handover
